Germany-Portugal line-up: Ronaldo starts

The Allianz Arena will host one of the two semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League tonight, between Germany and Portugal. A crucial match, the winner of which will face the winner of the France-Spain clash in the final.
It was previously said that Roberto Martinez might bench Cristiano Ronaldo and the Selecao star would come on in the second half. However, with the announcement of the starting lineups for the two teams, it became clear that CR7 would be starting with the captain's armband for his country.
Tonight's game is a revenge match for Cristiano. Ronaldo has faced Germany five times in his entire career, losing all five times with Portugal. Tonight he has the opportunity to lead Portugal to their first win over Germany.

Roberto Martinez, while leaving Costa out wide, uses Bruno Diaz and Inacio in the heart of his back four. Paris Saint-Germain star Noush is at right-back and Mendes, another European champion star, is on the left. Al-Hilal's Ruben Noush is in the defensive midfield along with Bernardo Silva, while Bernardo Fernandes, Neto and Trincao are in midfield. Cristiano Ronaldo is Portugal's lone striker in this game.

In the German camp, as expected, we see Ter Stegen return to goal. Anton, Tah and Koch are Julian Nagelsmann's three defenders in this game. Kimmich will play with the captain's armband alongside Pavlović, Kortzga and Mittelstadt in midfield, and the German front three will consist of Leroy Sane, Florian Wirtz and Stuttgart striker Woltemade.
Germany starting lineup: Ter Stegen, Anton, Tah, Koch, Kimmich, Pavlovich, Goretzka, Mittelstadt, Sane, Wirtz, Woltemade

Portugal starting lineup: Costa, Mendes, Inacio, Bruno Diaz, Nos, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Nos, Neto, Bruno Fernandes, Trincao, Ronaldo
